Itinerary

Day 1—Honolulu, Oahu: Upon arrival on the island of Oahu, transfer to our first-class hotel, the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

Tonight, chat with your fellow travelers during a lighthearted welcome reception. Welcome Reception included.

Day 2—Pearl Harbor/Waikiki Beach: We’ll start the day with a tasty breakfast at Duke’s Waikiki, a restaurant named for Duke Kahanamoku, the father of modern surfing and the “Big Kahuna” himself. Then we’re off on a city tour of Honolulu.

This afternoon, the awe-inspiring USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor and the battleship Missouri awaits.

Tonight, enjoy a stroll on Waikiki Beach or take in the hotel’s free nightly shows. Meals included: B.

Day 3—Haleiwa/Polynesian Cultural Center: A mouth-watering breakfast buffet on Waikiki Beach starts your day.

Spend the day enjoying the hotel’s amenities, including nearby dining and shopping opportunities and world-famous Waikiki Beach, or join us on an optional excursion! Meals included: B.

Option—Polynesian Cultural Center: Join us for a tour of Oahu’s most ­popular scenic attractions and a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. Meals included: L. Price: $95 per person.

Day 4—Big Island of Hawaii/Volcanoes National Park: This morning we’ll fly to the Big Island of Hawaii, where we’ll arrive in Hilo.

Our first stop is an exclusive visit to award-winning Green Point Nursery before heading into the slopes of Mauna Loa.

Later we’ll head to Volcanoes National Park, home of the only “drive-in” volcano in the world! Meals included: L.

Day 5—Hilo/Kona: A fascinating tour awaits us this morning at the Pacific Hilo Tsunami Museum. Learn about devastating tsunami waves and hear fascinating survivors’ stories.

We’ll travel along the lush Hamakua Coast to Hawaiian Vanilla Company, the only farm in the U.S. that grows vanilla commercially. Owner Jim Reddekopp will take us on a tour and share the history of the Hamakua Coast.

Next, Bob and Pam Cooper at the Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory give us the inside scoop on another tasty treat—cacao.

We’ll relax for two nights in Kona, truly a slice of paradise. Meals included: B, L.

Day 6—Kona/City of Refuge: An eye-opening tour of Kona Coffee Farm starts the day. See how this delicious pick-me-up goes from the field to your ­favorite mug.

From here, we visit Puuhonua O Honaunau, “City of Refuge,” where in ancient times Hawaiians came to be absolved of crimes against the gods. Meals included: B.

Country Tours Exclusive

Enjoy a rare visit and gourmet lunch at ­Hawaiian Vanilla Vineyards, the only one of its kind in the U.S. We’ll visit with owner Jim Reddekopp and his family, and learn the farm’s history.

Day 7—Maui/Lahaina: This morning we fly to our third island, Maui, where we’ll enjoy a gourmet lunch and a garden tour at the Alii Kula Lavender Farm. Over 30 different varieties of sweet-smelling lavender will amaze your senses. We’ll enjoy lunch at the farm, including a cooking demonstration.

This evening, you’ll have the chance to relax in the historical whaling town of Lahaina, where you’ll stay for three restful nights at Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Meals included: B, L.

Day 8—Today is at your leisure. Take in some of Maui’s top recreational activities—get a bird’s-eye view of the island on a heli­copter ride, explore the ocean on a snorkeling excursion, set sail on the beautiful Hawaiian waters or join us on a breathtaking, all day excursion. Meals included: B.

Option—Road to Hana: Join us for an all-day excursion on the “Road to Hana.” This breathtaking tour along Maui’s famous roadway offers stunning scenery around every turn - all 600 of them and glorious photo opportunities of the ocean, beaches, valleys and waterfalls. Definitely off the beaten path, but not for the faint hearted. Price: $135 per person.

Day 9—Lahaina/Luau: It’s another day in paradise to enjoy on your own. Enjoy the spectacular beach, take a trolley ride to Lahaina’s shopping district, join us on an optional excursion or just relax by the pool.

Option—Whale Watch: Experience the thrill of watching Maui’s most famous return visitor, the humpback whale! Price: $48 per person.

As the sun sets beyond the reef, the pounding of native drums will welcome you to the Old Lahaina Luau. Native dancers take you on a musical journey to the lyrical sounds of the tropics. It’s the perfect way to end this magical vacation. Meals included: B, D.

Day 10—Maui: This morning we’ll say “Aloha!” Enjoy breakfast, then get ready to head home, taking many tranquil island memories with you. Meals included: B.
